About Distinctive Home Renovations

Randy began his career in the remodeling industry back in 1991 as he and his brother started a company out of his parents' garage, performing small odd jobs for neighborhood clients. Over the years, they developed into a well-known remodeling firm performing approximately 50-75 renovations per year for repeat and new clients.

Approximately 4 years ago, in the start of a particularly trying economy, they decided that in order to be most competitive within the market place, they needed to form their our own separate companies. Randy has kept the Distinctive name intact, and will continue to provide exceptional service in the tradition that it has been built together over the years.  Distinctive Design Build and now Distinctive Home Renovations, has been recognized by the following.

  • Several projects have been publicized in Signature Kitchen & Bathroom home improvement magazine.
  • Remodeling Magazine recognized Distinctive Design Build as one of the nations "Big-50" remodeling contractors for the past decade, and we were quoted in the December 2008 issue.

  • Distinctive Home Renovations appeared in the November 2010 issue of Chicago Home Improvements.
